Why are you named Unfollow?
The average person scrolls through 300 feet of content every day, retaining almost none of it. We’re called Unfollow because we exist to cut through that noise: break the feed, challenge conventional social media trends, and build brand content that actually earns attention. We help you unfollow the trends just for the sake of trends, unfollow what everyone is doing, and unfollow playing it safe. 
What do you actually do better than every other social media agency pitching me?
We combine the creativity of an ad agency, the content chops of a production studio, the strategic thinking of a consulting firm, the design sensibilities of a brand studio, the creator network of an influencer agency, and the planning rigor of a media shop. All to help you break through the algorithm and create content people actually care about.
What’s your toxic trait as an agency?
We spent our whole Q4 profit on our Christmas party. Worth it.
How do you build a social media strategy that lasts longer than a quarter?
We develop long-term social media strategies rooted in brand positioning, then pair them with agile content systems that can respond to trends, cultural moments, and real-time performance data. We complain about it on Slack. Then we make it pop.
How do you consistently produce content that people actually care about?
We believe in bold ideas and creative risk-taking, but only when they align with brand voice and audience behavior. That’s why we combine high-performing social media strategy with world-class designers and content creators. Because great creative without insight is just noise, and strong strategy without execution doesn’t land. Kind of like a plane stuck taxiing in circles.
Are you trying to win awards or win attention?
Yes. 
How do you know when an idea is actually good?
When it resonates, you can feel it; more importantly, you can measure it. We evaluate ideas through a combination of creative instinct, audience response, and performance metrics. If something isn’t working, we pivot quickly. But we don’t kill ideas just because they’re unconventional, especially if they have the potential to pop. Our approach strives for a perfect balance of creative ambition and disciplined execution. TL;DR: As a wise man once said, you know it when you see it. It’s me. I’m the wise man.
